She has owned and operated businesses in Whitby for the past 10 years, has worked as a Background Investigator with Durham Regional Police Service, and has served on the Whitby Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where she also acted as Board Conduit for the Advocacy Committee.  A career built on service, accountability, and showing up for the community continues to guide her approach today. Where to vote in West Ward

Whitby votes on paper, in person. You can vote early from October 22 to 25 at one of three advance locations, or on Monday, October 26 at one of nineteen voting places across town. If neither works, you can apply for a mail-in ballot. Your Voter Notification Card, which arrives in October, names the location assigned to you.

Special Mail-in Ballot

Applications open September 1. Apply by mail by October 4, by email by October 11, or in person by 4:30 p.m. on October 21. Voting kits go out between October 5 and 13. Return your completed ballot by October 18 if you are mailing it back, or in person by 4:30 p.m. on October 26.

Retirement homes and seniors’ buildings

The Town runs special voting locations and roving polls at a number of long term care homes, retirement residences and seniors’ buildings, on October 19 and 20 or on voting day. These are for residents of those buildings only. Check with building management, posted notices, or your Voter Notification Card for times.
